How do I place an order?To place an order complete the order form on our contact page and a member of our team will contact you as soon as possible to complete your request.

How soon should I place an order?We usually book orders weeks, sometimes months in advance, so we would encourage you to place your orders as soon as possible (preferably 4 weeks prior to your event, but please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for scheduling).

Why do you need a two-week minimum notice on orders?There are certain aspects of each order that require more time than others. By scheduling accordingly, we can be sure that each order receives the time and proper attention that it needs.

Today is Monday and I decided to have a small dinner party on Friday. Is it possible to place an order?All orders require a minimum 2 week notice. If it is possible to accomodate your request within the time frame, a RUSH FEE will be added to your order and payment will be due in full.

How much is the order rush fee?The amount of the order rush fee will vary depending on the details of your order. The minimum rush fee amount will be no less than $25

What is needed to place an order?To place an order and secure your event date, a 50% retainer is required. Your balance is due 1 week prior to your event date.

Are retainers/security deposits refundable?Retainers/security deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. We ask that you please make certain that you understand the policies and ordering guidelines prior to making any payments.

Why is a retainer/security deposit required?There are materials that sometimes need to be ordered, and detailed pieces that need to be made in advance that could result in other potential clients being turned away so we can ensure that we dedicate the appropriate amount of time to your event. This retainer/security deposit lets us know that you are serious about your order and allows us to begin the creative process.

Do you offer tastings?Tastings are only offered with wedding consultations. During the consultation you will have the opportunity to taste several cake flavors.

Is there a consultation/tasting fee?There is a non-refundable consultation and tasting fee of $35. If you choose to move forward with services provided by Chaysing Cake, your paid consultation fee will be applied to your final balance. When you are ready to schedule your consultation, you will be sent an invoice for the consultation and tasting fee. Once paid, this will secure your appointment date and time on our calendar. We ask that you please keep in mind that all samples are prepared special for you. Please provide no less than 48 hours notice if your appointment needs to be rescheduled. Cancellations without proper notice will be subject to an additional fee to secure a new appointment date and time.

Do you ship cakes?Chaysing Cake does NOT ship cakes. We do however offer shipping for our Cake in a Jar, cookies, and other small dessert options.

Do you deliver?Yes, we offer delivery for an additional fee. Delivery fees begin at $45 within a 15 mile radius and increase based on the distance to the delivery location.

What is your refund/cancellation policy?In the event of cancellation, payments and retainers are non-refundable and will NOT be issued under any circumstances. However, Chaysing Cake has the right to cancel your order. You will be informed in writing and your retainer/deposit will be returned to you within 60 days.
